City Manager Inspires Young Creatives at Mr. & Miss Nakuru Auditions
Part of the Nakuru City Festival Season – 26th November to 1st December 2025
Today Mr. & Miss Nakuru Auditions were filled with energy, hope, and raw talent as dozens of young people and children came out to showcase their gifts. It was a special honor to host the Nakuru City Manager, who joined us in person to engage with the contestants and share inspiring words.
He spoke passionately about Nakuru’s growing status as a vibrant UNESCO Creative City, highlighting how the upcoming Nakuru City Festival, scheduled from 26th November to 1st December, will transform the city into a celebration of creativity ; from music and fashion to art and culture.
“Our city will be alive with talent and innovation,” he said. “This is the moment for Nakuru’s young creatives to shine and show the world what we can do.”
The City Manager emphasized that creativity is not just a passion, but a powerful economic driver. He encouraged every young person present never to give up, reminding them that creative work is one of today’s best earners when approached with focus and consistency.
He also commended Ashley’s Events for its commitment to empowering young creatives and pledged his continued support in linking runway talent and designers with the corporate world, opening doors for them to serve as brand ambassadors and represent Nakuru with pride.
As we now prepare for the next round of auditions for creatives and fashion designers, to be held at Ashley’s Events, his encouragement continues to echo in the hearts of all who attended. Together, we look forward to the grand Nakuru City Festival Gala, where our models, designers, and performers will light up the stage in true Nakuru style.
